A pair of orient-inflenced ladies long gloves, circa 1690 – 1700, of white kid leather dyed deep rose pink, suede side uppermost, slightly flaired opening, the upper hand embroidered with orientally robed figure in turban worked in pink and floss silks highlighted in silver thread, two blue pom-poms to the knuckles of one hand, trailing floral bands run from the top of the glove down its length, 48 cm long.

Part of the Collection donated to the Livery in 1959 by the late Robert Spence.

Conserved 1995 – 1999 with help from NHLF.
