A pair of printed leather gloves, Spanish, circa 1800, of cream kid leather grain side out, printed using a special technique to the tops with two lovers meeting in a pastoral landscape, amid ripple-effect graduated medallions, the cuffs with punched and pinked leather edges, 21 cm long. Part of the Collection donated to the Livery in 1959 by the late Robert Spence.

Conserved 1995 - 1999 with help from the NHLF.
