A gentleman's striped knitted silk glove, circa 1800, knitted in bands of pink, beige and indigo blue, with beige embroidered zig-zag lines and stylised seed heads over the knuckles, and outlining the thumb seam, no gussets to the fingers, 22.5 cm long. Part of the Collection donated to the Livery in 1959 by the late Robert Spence. Conserved 1995 - 1999 with help from the NHLF.
