A single embroidered leather glove circa 1620 – 40, of white kid dyed grey, suede side uppermost, with integral gauntlet edged and lined in pink silk, trimmed with silver fringing, embroidered in split stitch in pink and yellow floss silks a pair of birds, red and blue coloured raised purl wire blossoms and gold strip quivers and stylised gold purl blooms with gold strip stems, elongated fingers and thumb with wrong sides together stab stitched, 32 cm long. Part of the Collection donated to the Livery in 1959 by the late Robert Spence. Conserved 1995 – 1999 with help from the NHLF.
