An embroidered gauntlet panel circa 1600, inset with satin panels embroidered with kingfishers and cranes within lavish couched silver and gold thread borders with raised floss silk florets and pea pods of couched silver and shaded green silk threads which open, the eight green tabs embroidered with moss green foliage and edged in spangled fringes, 36 cm long overall.

Part of the Collection donated to the Livery in 1959 by the late Robert Spence. Conserved in 1995 - 1999 with help from NHLF.
