A fine ribbon trimmed glove, circa 1660 –80, wrist length of white doeskin, the hand section suede side up, the integral gauntlet showing the reverse, with pinked, scalloped edging and slashed stripes through which various shades and sizes of green ribbon and gauzes are threaded, the upper hand and fingers trimmed with ribbon rosettes, the whole adorned with decorative pinked/slashed patterns to aid ventilation, elongated fingers, 24 cm long.
