Men's white doeskin gloves, flesh side out, stained cream, with extended fingers, circa 1630 – 40, with integral gauntlet elegantly embroidered in silver purl, twisted and couched silver threads with delicate strapwork, tulips and leaf forms, edged in crimson satin ribbon and silver bobbin lace threaded with sequins, 36cm long.

Part of the Collection donated to the Livery in 1959 by the late Robert Spence. Conserved 1995 – 1999 with help from the NHLF.
