A pair of ivory satin gauntlet panels, circa 1600 - 1610, each worked with six tabs and lined in salmon pink silk, delicately embroidered in satin stitch, split stitch with floss silk pansies, couched tousled green hummocks, gold thread palmettes, purl wire details and spots, pairs of caterpillars, edged in gold bobbin lace threaded with sequins, each 17cm wide each side.

Part of the Collection donated to the Livery in 1959 by the late Robert Spence. Conserved 1995 - 1999 with help from the NHLF.
