An embroidered glove, circa 1600 – 1620, of soft kid leather dyed yellow, with gauntlet of eight ivory satin tabs, linked with salmon pink godets, salmon pink silk ruffled bracelet band, edged in sequins and gold embroidery, the tabs superbly worked in gold purl wire, pink, blue and green floss silk flowering plants, the whole edged in gold wire and spangles. 29 cm long.

Part of the Collection donated to the Livery in 1959 by the late Robert Spence. Conserved 1995 – 1999 with help from the NHLF.
