A pair of ladies' grey leather palm, brown and cream fur back warm day wear gloves with prixseam stitching, made in England in 1950/1960's.

Made by Fownes of Worcester, a leading British glove manufacturer. Gloves with real fur backs and wool lining were popular from the 1920's to the late 1960's.

Donated by John Beddington in October 2005.
