A pair of young ladies' mitten gloves, in light yellow sealskin leather, made in the 1930's in Canada by Grenfell Laprador industries in Newfoundland and Laprador. Mitten sewn inseam and thumb outseam whipstitch with alpine flower embroidery.

Decorative and for the gift trade; an example of innuit Eskimo crafts.

Acquired on E Bay and donated by Marion Kite in April 2004.
